OUR DISCIPLINE POLICY AND CODE OF CONDUCT

The Bible says we must, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6(KJV).

At Willow Academy, we believe that discipline is a partnership between parents and the school. Our Code of Conduct and Discipline Policy is reviewed annually to ensure the standards are current and relevant, and all learners and parents are required to acknowledge and agree to the conditions set out in these documents.

Refer to our Code of Conduct and Discipline Policy.

Willow Academy supports the South African Constitution which expresses South Africa’s shared aspirations, and the moral and ethical direction set for the future.

As a Christian school, Willow Academy aims to instill the values of the Constitution in our learners by providing a rich understanding of the basic principles of Christianity, and a deep appreciation of the human value and dignity which they imply.

We believe that the Christian ethos of Willow Academy reaffirms the values of social justice and equity, equality, non-racism and non-sexism, human dignity, accountability, respect, and reconciliation as enshrined in the Constitution.

Furthermore, we support and uphold the rule of law in an open and democratic society.

At Willow Academy, you will find a culture of diligence, excellence, and integrity, grounded on respect, love, faith, and unity. Our staff and learners work in an environment with strong values and a commitment to growth as we endeavor to educate each child in body, mind, and spirit. Academics, sport, cultural activities, leadership, outdoor programmes and a daily time of devotion, helps learners explore and develop their unique abilities and strengths.
