Our teachers are passionate about inspiring young minds to reach their full God –given potential and use free play, visual and creative arts, music and discovery play to achieve this. These forms of learning help our learners acquire important skills, which include gross and fine motor skills.
Gross motor development refers to the activities which strengthen and stimulate the development of the large muscles to facilitate balance, coordination, locomotion, and core strength. These activities include running, crawling and jumping. Whereas fine motor development is focussed on the small muscles which are required to manipulate small objects and tools. In order to develop these muscles, learners are introduced to activities which include pencil grip, painting and cutting with scissors.
Our teachers are focussed on the visual arts and draw inspiration from internationally acclaimed artists, like Picasso. We have a strong belief in memorisation, and thus our learners are encouraged to memorise scriptures on a daily basis.
Our curriculum is taught from a Christian perspective and our goal is to make God the centre of everything we do. Our Pre-Primary provides learners with a variety of activities which contribute toward their spiritual formation and our teachers strive to present biblically integrated lessons. We have a daily time of praise and worship, prayer, and a Bible-based talk.
