What an amazing Ascension day!
We were blessed to have Pastor Frederick Blignaut visit us this morning and join the high school in communion.
Like a CV represents us and what we have done in life, communion represents what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross for our sins.
May we always remember John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only son to die for our sins, so we can have eternal life!
It was so wonderful to have Cedric from the Gideons South Africa visit us this morning to share more information about the organization and to bless our Grade 8s with Bibles.
May we always remember to reach out to God in the good and bad times, as God is our father and wants us to be close to Him.

We are very pleased to report that our SwitchedOn class has been doing really well. The learners have had to adapt to managing their workload, organizing their own timetable, setting their pace, as well as improving their note-taking skills, completing tests on most days, and navigating the online learning platform. We are proud to say that they have really flourished.
Mr Storer will agree that we have seen a desire to excel and levels of self-motivation that have often been missing in the traditional classroom setting. We are offering this online platform for Grade 8 and 9 learners in 2024, so if you are keen to enrol your child next year, please watch out for information on a presentation in the near future.

Herewith is our enrolment process for Willow Academy 2024.
The enrolment process is as follows:
Apply online or contact our friendly admissions officer. Complete the application form with all the required documentation together with your application fee.
The application fee structure is as follows:
Early bird R800,00 per child (end of May)
From June up to end August the application fee is R1200,00 per child
From September to October the application fee is R1400,00 per child
From 1 November 2023 the application fee is R2000,00
Once we have received your application with all the required documentation, our friendly admissions officer will contact you to arrange for the following procedure to take place:
Assessment or Entrance Exams:
Grade R- a school readiness test
Grade 1-3 an assessment done at school for 2 to 3 days
Grade 4-12 an entrance exams that consist of English Home language, Mathematics and Afrikaans FAL
Please note that all assessment and entrance exams give us an indication of your child’s academic performance and ability. If needed, your child may be requested to repeat the grade or receive enrichment in the subjects where your child might not show proficiency.

Once we have concluded all the aspects of the application conditions, our Admission Board will meet to conclude the outcome of your child’s application. To confirm that your child has been accepted you will receive an email with the Acceptance Letter attached. In this letter we will inform you about any possible conditions to your child’s enrollment at Willow Academy.
To secure your place, you are requested to pay a registration fee as per your acceptance letter.
