As the academic year draws to a close, our Grade 12 learners are gearing up for one of the most pivotal moments in their school journey—their final exams. After years of hard work, dedication, and countless lessons, they are now stepping into the final stretch, ready to put their knowledge to the test. As we approach exam season, we pray a blessing over these learners and remind them that they have already proven their capabilities. Now, it’s time to shine!
What a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie we experienced on Saturday! Preparations for this special day began early in the year when we realized we would not be able to use the sports facilities we had relied on for so many years. Taking a leap of faith, we decided to host this year’s derby on the Willow Academy premises.
This year was notably different as all the attending schools came together in unity. Even though it was a competitive environment, we all shared the common goal of celebrating school spirit in a God-honoring manner. While Willow Academy did not take home the derby cup, we are incredibly proud of our teams who played their hearts out and truly represented us with pride. Our Willovian learners showed true spirit with their songs and cheerleading – it was indeed a proud moment.
